Heat pump evaporators

Formeco evaporators allow to treat the waste stream separating water from contaminants. The technology is based on boiling the waste water exploiting an external source of hot water or steam; this water, once distilled, is replaced in the production line whereas the contaminant, now very concentrated, can be disposed at relatively low cost.

HP Series evaporators are designed to operate at reduced pressure, where the heat for boiling is produced by a heat pump that also provides the energy needed to condense the generated vapors.
A drastic reduction in energy consumption can be achieved with double-effect systems (up to 40%) combined with a significant increase in distillate purity.

SERIE HP – S

WITH IMMERSED HEATING COILS

  • For treatment of:

  • for oil emulsions with concentration < 20%

  • waste water from die-casting and industrial degreasing

  • From 10 up to 500 litres/hour

SERIE HP – R

EXTERNAL COIL HEATING

WITH INTERNAL BOILER SCRAPER

  • versatile systems for any type of wastewater, especially for encrusting liquids

  • the scraper favours the heat exchange and the concentration of the residue, avoiding the encrustations on the heating surface

  • low energy consumption

  • compact dimensions

  • from 10 to 250 litres / hour

SERIE HP – Cf

EXTERNAL HEATING SOURCE

WITH FORCED CIRCULATION PUMP

Continuous flow of wastewater into a high efficiency expansion chamber

  • for significant hourly productions

  • waste with density <1,25 Kg / litre and concentration <20% of suspended solids

  • reduced sensitivity to foam formation

  • modular systems with excellent accessibility for maintenance

  • low energy consumption

  • from 50 to 3000 litres / hour

For a higher concentration of the process residue they can be combined with the evaporation units of the HP-R series or to Formeco Concentration units.
